Gowri Shankar SubramanianGowri is a co-founder of Aspire Systems and currently serves as its CEO. In this position, he sets the strategic direction for Aspire and also oversees its day-to-day operations. Under his leadership, Aspire has grown at a CAGR of 63% over the past five years and has been ranked in Deloitte's list of fastest-growing companies in India and Asia-Pacific.
Gowri believes in the power of outsourcing to transform industries and fundamentally alter business dynamics. Having watched up-close how sub-contract manufacturing transformed the electronics industry and how IBM, Cisco, HP, and others gradually outsourced all their manufacturing operations, Gowri firmly believes that software product building will go the same way and can be completely outsourced. This simple premise never fails to spark a substantial debate and it underlines everything that Aspire does.
Gowri has a Masters in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Pondicherry University.
Shankar KrishnamoorthyShankar serves as the CEO of a product startup, Asteor Software. Asteor has two flagship products – Techcello and Synergita, cloud based software products. Techcello is rated as a Gartner Cool Vendor in CEAP (Cloud Enabled Application Platform) space and also adjudged as Emerge League of 10 in 2012 by Nasscom.
Prior to Asteor, Shankar co-founded Aspire Systems and currently serves as one of the directors of the board. Shankar has played several roles in Aspire - from hands-on software development, project management, overall delivery management to spearheading various technology/producteering initiatives. He has rich track record spanning more than 17 years of successful leadership in product development, consistently delivering software to the worlds leading ISVs and innovative Enterprises. He is proud to be a part of the team which made Aspire a recognized brand in Outsourced Product Development space & also won several awards like GPW’s Best companies to work for, Deloitte’s Fast 50, etc.
Prior to Aspire, Shankar gained extensive software development experience building CAD/CAM software at Neil Automation (www.neilsoft.com) and Parametric Technology Corporation (www.ptc.com).
Shankar has Masters in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from Bharathiar University, India and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Pondicherry University, India.

Before founding Aspiration Energy, Bhoo co-founded Aspire Systems and currently serves as one of its Directors of the Board. Prior to this assignment, he was President, US operations for Aspire Systems, and played a part in getting Aspire Systems to be a successful and well recognized Outsourced Product Development company.
Bhoo is a firm believer that "success is a matter of willingness to succeed and to keep at it!". His 12+ years in Aspire has enabled him to interact with hundreds of growth stage ISVs - the management teams, founders, venture capitalists and other stakeholders. Bhoo is a thought leader, and often quoted in leading media, about the software products market and the offshoring strategy of ISVs - including captive center dynamics.
He has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pondicherry University, India, and a MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Illinois, USA
